Antonio Carluccio is an author, TV presenter, restaurateur and businessman with a passionate interest in the various cuisines of his native Italy.
As well as being the proprietor of Covent Garden's Neal Street Restaurant, he co-owns with his wife Priscilla a chain of Carluccio Caffes.
An enthusiastic mycologist, he is the author of the successful Complete Mushroom Book, along with other publications such as Complete Italian Food and Favourite Italian Recipes.
His latest book is Italia, a tour-de-force exploration of the customs and recipes of Italian regional cooking.
