The alliance for better food and farming
Sustain is a charitable alliance which works towards improving food and farming practices to increase the health and welfare of both people and animals.
Current campaigns include lobbying for better children's food and hospital meals, along with promoting organic and sustainable food production.
They were formed in 1999 by merging The National Food Alliance and the Sustainable Agriculture Food and Environment (SAFE) Alliance.
